Apocalypsethunderous roar, raging sea and the sunken sea beneath,
this is the place we made,
and now it's coral,
now it's an aquarium for all sorts of under-sea life,
now it's a sponge's living room
it's a museum for the clown fish,
that swim around the highways
old ventricles and aortas that don't pump blood anymore
there's a lackluster sunset,
and a sincere lack of apologies,
\there's ghosts on the shore,
and they all look like me.
I was used to deathI thought I was used to death,
I built a coffin and it begun to float,
and as I floated through the window I began to hypothesize
maybe I'd just float right into the sun,
and my reincarnated carbons,
would limbo in an endless hell,
and that's when I thought I was used to death,
scattered atoms amongst a moving sea,
and that's when I quit trying to move,
and let it take me, where it will take me
time and time againI will stand and bear this,
wave by wave as the sea turns me into fine sand on a receding beach,
I will stand by, whether you want me to or not,
I will stand and bear this,
time and time again
for time is the only thing that forgives action
and the only thing that forgets words.
tapsthe taps keep running,
streams turn into creeks,
creeks to rivers,
until this lake turns into an ocean
and all I see is sea
Sonnet for Tayloryou were a warm ghost, a flickering face on a screen
I saw your smile once, manifest, lovely ghost I saw you
love, I turned to smoke and I turned green green green
I burn you down, you burnt up and it's nothing new it's nothing new
cinders, I singed myself, my lungs turned to crisp I crumple to ash
I loved you dear, I loved you tender,
we splintered still, a thundering crash
my loving heart starved itself slender
yet, warmed in your embracing words, I took your soul
I bent you in thirds, two for me and one for you
I cheated you out, I stole I stole I stole
from you, your beating love, I broke, pursued.
if only I could. Repay that unrepairable debt,
love, I'd mend your heart, I'd rewind the cassette
I met you by the fire,
our tears fed a love,
but to know I burned you...
dear, those hours by your side turned to weeks
and the weeks turned to months
which turned to stones in my heart,
sinking me sinking you,
you gave me years
and I just left you with my fears,
tears after tears,
Sonnet for Danielle no. III remember your worst, but your best still keeps its place,
in my heart your gentle name, in my heart your pretty face,
you were not the monster I cast you as, your role was sweet your character was kind,
I remember that, but you threw it all behind,
we made a beautiful thing, our graces crossed and we created this city,
and it was huge, and it was golden, it was pretty,
our towers shook hands with the sun, our place was filled with life,
and we died a million deaths for this place, we slit a thousands wrists with one knife
we struck out lines, we burned out photos, we broke picture frames,
we cursed at each other, we slept around, we called each other names
we made something beautiful, we knew it too well,
I built you a statue in my heart, it crumbled, it fell
I look at you now, and you're better than you ever were,
you crawled out of the rubble, as I sleep in it and do not stir
despaciothe lull she left me in...
there was a roaring sound, and then silence fell from the sky
a curtain. Of dark-ness came,
I am atrasado, despacio,
I am quiet violence,
she left me a spire of clouds, she left me a migrant smoke
I was a whirlwind whipping around without sound,
ripping through the sky like a vertical line of quiet discontent
a lightning strike, with no thunder,
ripping the ground asunder, plucking it apart with anger,
the ground does not shake but the mountains move miles and the rivers run around,
this city was built on a shoreline that is now many continents away,
and it takes a man
and the man, breaks
Sonnet for Danielle no. Ipropogator, I rarely even hush thy name,
but here we are again, you fan the flames
coals now, but breathing hearts
blown upon, a jump-start
I bleed, bled and will continue to bleed,
for you, I find solace in it again to spread the seeds
a friendship renewed a ship re-float,
stick me with another knife. I'll fetch your coat
my patience is not ill mannered, it is temperance
it is patience, a semblance of what once was love, but not ill timed entrance
not another chance, not another go
we are gone, you were too slow
your name is again idle, I forgot, I forgave
I quit, I caved.
hyenas make the best lovers.i need to stop looking
for death in every body
my fingers touch.
i have been force fed
old lovers, & slices
of the moons lying dust
i am messy poems;
i am fractured confessions.
i am laughter
my jaws ache
with the taste of
i am still hungry.
give me your sugar;
I will share my breath.
you are still made of starstuff,
& i am no longer caged.
PretendingYou, full and complete you, you have become my strength and my talisman for all times...
You, and again you, you let I wrecked just in you…
You, my madness is you, you tie me to your body and do not let me go...
You, inside me, between every atom, between every cell you live among...
I say all the time: fear not, there are songs that will never know who sings...
Those kisses never know who prints them on your lovely lips...
You nail down your dreamy eyes and tenderly ask me: Are you crying?
No, I answer. Dried my eyes are... to the bottom you can look into them.
If you get lost, breathe me and you will find you.
The truth is that I beg you to remember that this that born in my mouth, this awakening in my eyes, will sleep latency in your soul.
Undoubtedly you will become the most beautiful and sad fisherwoman of Stars.
I'm hiding my will to live, of my desire to live for you.
Maybe I can lose myself in the eyes of the person asking for a miracle, but it is certain that, I want to
StockholmBut my heart beats for you alone
You are not
You are ever watchful
Hoping for devotion
My wandering heart
Beating for you
My SunlightYou are my sun,
My only light,
As you fade,
The moon is there,
A memory of you,
Of the darkness,
Before your dawn.
You are the breeze,
That kisses my face,
Those tender lips,
That rushing embrace.
You are the grass,
Beneath my feet,
You hide my tears,
You support my weight.
You are the last,
One for me,
There was many before,
But they were never the same.
With you its right,
With you its love,
And if tonight,
I come above.
I'll see your glory,
From the moon,
From the memory,
Of this afternoon.
Puppet String SymphonyHere come the snares,
wrenching at my heart;
like my tongue can’t find the words to say.
I've been resurrecting your skeletons,
just to place broken flesh over it and watch it all decay…
…scratching at freshly picked scars and rose petals,
while digging up old habits and hatchets;
just so I can whistle a tune so tragic.
Here comes the wind,
stomping at my lungs;
like my emotions are gasping to be released.
I've been coughing up your cover-ups,
just to place my index finger over it and watch it all cease…
…living in this darkness, sulfur-tipped match tossed in the breeze,
while thinking it’s just not worth the candle;
just so I can hum a song you can’t handle.
Here come the keys,
playing at my mind;
like all eighty-eight demons and angels serving one star.
I've been worshipping my self-inflicted headache,
two times twelve and that’s how many bars…
…I've got to show you the color I feel.

All but a
For the true art called
I PromiseIt is a painful thought
To know he kissed you,
To know he stole your innocence.
He felt the warmth and comfort of your love,
But manipulated it to lust
And turned that perfect smile I now see,
Into a lifeless vessel
That gave into his
Carefully painted words
He had you
Before I ever knew you,
I'm sorry I wasn't there,
I'm sorry I could not save you.
But look up at me now, love,
Look up at me with those astonishing, crystal eyes
And know that I will love you
Until this heart of mine has given out.
I am your present
And your future;
I will love you for more than your body,
I will love your wild personality,
I will love your motherly instincts,
I will love your acceptance,
I will love your understanding,
I will love your "frustrations",
I will love your timidness,
I will love your stubbornness,
I will love your laughter,
I will love your tears,
I will love your scars,
I will love your flaws,
But most of all;
I will love you.
HowlHe’s a dancer in the dark
With unearthly rhythm
She’s the moon he left to sleep
In a sky without her stars
Like a poem led by lust
In a world of not to happen
Like a symphony of phoenix flights
On a December night
Singing for the ones they laid to rest
On their holy ground
Without an Earth
He’s the wolf
Howling with regrets
In a world of his own madness
She’s the moon
Without a sky to hold her high
In the night
Like the odds are not in favor
Like the sun that conquers
And the moon on someone else's sky
Like the legends we used to fear
Children by the fire’s flames
We used to be believers
In a world without its hope
Dream, boy, dream of wonder
In a world without sparkle
Like stormy days
In a September goodbye story
Of sleepless nights and awaken dreamers
Stars that pierce the sky
Are just children of regrets
Of a love that never happened
But always echoed in the night
Unrequited LoveJust think of me.
Text me good morning and good night.
Text me at lunch just to let me know you're alright.
Wish me a good nap around five or six.
And if you're every bored just give me a call.
I'll make you a fangirl no matter what.
Even if you never admit it I'll let you off.
Meet up with me every now and then.
Never end a conversation with just goodnight or goodbye.
Ask questions and explore life with me.
Support me but don't try to fix me.
Even though I'll try to fix you.
But first I need this dream to come true...
thy neighbor's wifeI'm dying, without you
you were mine, I let you slide, I let you die, I let live I let you slide,
and now away you go, in another's arms again,
and now I'm jealous again, filled with regret,
shoots of green spring my frosted lungs, growing moss, my mouth grows cobwebs,
my fingers itch in words grown achingly,
I hate you for not hating me,
it just makes me love you more,
a love pointless, I am pointless
a sharpened spear thrown at sand,
scattered shot sewn in an hour-glass, inevitable, fatalism,
my heart is an empty engine, my arms dying pistons,
if only, if only, I knew how to feel nice,
I wish I could ignore my regretful hindsight, and just, look, straight
but, I'm a tunnel-visioned lover,
admirable, amiable, if only I could just acquiesce,
relinquish, give, surrender, but I loved you once too much,
